Police have launched a murder probe after a woman, aged 39, was found dead in a property on Old Brompton Road, Earls Court.

Officers rushed to the scene at 11:15am on Wednesday, 10 December, after a welfare concern call. They discovered the woman’s body inside the property. Her identity is yet to be confirmed, with police working to alert her family.

“My team are conducting urgent enquiries to establish the full circumstances that led to this woman’s tragic death,” said Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley.
“I know this news will cause concern among the local and wider community. Our investigation remains a top priority. My utmost sympathy goes to the victim’s family and friends during this painful time.

Police Seal Off Scene as Investigation Intensifies
No arrests have been made yet. A post-mortem is due to take place. The scene on Old Brompton Road is sealed off, with extra police patrols planned in the coming days.
