The National Crime Agency (NCA) is hunting Britain’s most dangerous criminals across borders – and London is a hotspot. As of September 2025, the NCA’s Most Wanted list names 19 men suspected of serious crimes like rape, murder, and drug trafficking. Seven are believed to be lurking in or linked to the capital.
Christakis Philippou: The Holiday Scam King
Christakis Philippou, known as a ‘drug line boss,’ is thought to be hiding in London. He allegedly ran a shady travel agency racket between 2004 and 2006, duping 20,000 customers with cut-price holiday deals that never happened. Now, he’s on the run. Philippou stands about 5ft 5in, with grey receding hair and tan skin.
Jack Mayle: Croydon’s Fugitive Drug Dealer
Jack Mayle is accused of running “Flavour Quest,” a drug line in South London and Surrey. He allegedly linked up with dark web dealers to buy and sell illegal narcotics. After being charged, the Croydon native fled and remains at large. Mayle, 30, is 5ft 11in, muscular, with tattoos including one on his left forearm reading “Croydon.” He’s also a vegan and known to carry weapons.
Ersin Mustafa: The Insider Trading Ghost
Ex JP Morgan banker Ersin Mustafa stands accused of insider trading, pocketing around £2.5 million by leaking secrets on mergers and acquisitions. Arrested in 2008, Mustafa vanished by late 2009 and hasn’t been seen since. He’s about 5ft 5in, stocky, with dark hair and tanned skin.
Ozgur Demir & Osman Aydeniz: Turkish Drug Conspirators Wanted
The NCA is desperate for leads on Ozgur Demir and Osman Aydeniz, Turkish nationals involved in a major drug trafficking conspiracy. Several accomplices have already been jailed, but these two remain at large.
Daniel Dugic: The Serbian Smuggling Mastermind
Serbian national Daniel Dugic faces charges related to a 2011 drug smuggling ring involving a small UK vessel and a container ship in the English Channel. While not on board, Dugic is accused of orchestrating the operation. Authorities believe he is in London.
John Barton: The Elusive Crime Figure
John Barton, with links to London and Fuengirola, Spain, has evaded justice for crimes committed from 1999-2000. Sentenced in absentia, Barton is described as around 5ft 7in, medium build, with dyed receding hair.
The NCA urges anyone with information to come forward and help put these criminals behind bars. London’s shadows may be hiding more than just secrets.
