Man Shot in Broad Daylight on Romford’s White Hart Lane

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a man was shot in east London.

Police rushed to White Hart Lane, Romford, at 7.13am on Wednesday, 14 October, following reports of a shooting.

Mid-30s Victim Shot in the Leg

Officers found a man in his mid-30s with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was swiftly taken by London Ambulance Service to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Trident Detectives Launch Probe, No Arrests Yet

The Specialist Crime Command’s Trident team has sealed off the scene and is investigating. They urge anyone who was nearby or heard anything suspicious to come forward.

“Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting reference Cad 1171/14Oct,” detectives said.

At this stage, no arrests have been made and police are still working to uncover the motive behind the shooting.
