Man Arrested Over Sexual Offences After Police Raid in Harebell Drive
A 53-year-old man is set to face court this month after a police operation targeting dangerous offenders.
Police Seize Devices in Harebell Drive Raid
Officers from the Management of Sexual Offenders and Violent Offenders team (MOSOVO), backed by the Cyber Crime unit, executed a warrant at an address on Harebell Drive on 23 September. Electronic devices were seized during the search.
Sanjoy Rajput Charged With Serious Offences
The arrested man, Sanjoy Rajput, was charged with breaching a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) and failing to comply with the sex offenders register notification rules.
Rajput appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 24 September and is due back at Chelmsford Crown Court on 22 October.
