Police on patrol spotted what looked like a drug deal between two men on Bryant Street on Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2022.

One Flee, One Caught With Drugs

When officers moved in on Luton Road, one suspect got away. But the other, Mohamed Hussain, 21, was caught red-handed. A search revealed roughly 100 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin hidden in his waistband.

Hussain, who has no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of drug offences. He now faces charges including possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, plus acquiring criminal property.

Court Appearance

He appeared at West Kent Magistrates’ Court on August 11, 2022, and was remanded in custody ahead of a Maidstone Crown Court hearing set for a later date.
