Kent Police rushed to the Londonbound M20 near junction 8 at 1.20pm on Sunday, 22 September 2019. A white lorry and a black motorcycle collided in a tragic crash.
Motorcyclist Killed at Scene
The biker, a man in his 50s from Yorkshire, died on impact. Ambulance crews confirmed his death at the scene.
Driver Arrested and Remanded
- Mateusz Pietrow, 31, with no fixed address, was arrested the same day.
- He was charged with causing death by careless driving on Monday, 23 September 2019.
- Pietrow appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 24 September, and was remanded in custody.
- He will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, 22 October.
