Rolex Robbery Shocker in Central London – Cops Hunt Trio Caught on CCTV

Detectives have released CCTV footage of three suspects after a 60-year-old man was robbed of his £6,000 Rolex in central London.

Bold Daylight Snatch on Quiet London Street

On Friday 3 July, the victim was walking near Chancery Lane tube station, turning onto Brownlow Street and Bedford Row, when two men approached him. They asked for directions to 1 Court Road. After helping them, the victim continued his walk towards Theobalds Road.

Suddenly, one of the men grabbed the victim from behind around the neck while the other snatched his phone. The victim fought back, grabbing his phone and throwing it down the street, shouting for help.

Watch Stolen as Suspects Flee

Amid the struggle, one suspect ripped the victim’s Rolex, model 116710BLNR, straight from his wrist, yelling “I’ve got it!” as they ran off. A passerby rushed to help before police launched a search, but the thieves vanished, possibly via Holborn tube station.

The victim suffered minor injuries but escaped serious harm.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Jewellers

Detective Constable Alejandra Gomez of the Central North Command Unit is leading the investigation. She revealed:

“Two suspects approached the victim while the third acted as a lookout. All three fled the scene swiftly. We’ve released CCTV images and urge anyone who recognises these men to come forward immediately.”

Detectives also warn jewellers to be alert. Anyone offered the stolen Rolex watch, who cannot explain its origin, must contact the police without delay.
