A man has been charged following a shocking attempted murder on Coleman Street, Southampton, last Friday (18 November).

Victim Survives Life-Threatening Attack

The violent incident took place around 1pm, leaving a 19-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. Thankfully, he has since been discharged from hospital.

Roman Omari Held on Multiple Charges

Roman Omari, 18, from Queensway, Southampton, faces charges of attempted murder, possession of a knife or blade, and violent disorder. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 23 November.

More Arrests in Ongoing Investigation

Police have already arrested three other men, aged 18, 19, and 21, all from Southampton, as part of their inquiries. The investigation into the attack is ongoing.
