Blaze Breaks Out at Bungalow in Aylesham

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) rushed to a raging fire at a bungalow in Hawthorn Close, Aylesham, on Thursday, 8 May 2025. The emergency call came in at 4:50pm, sparking an urgent response.

Three Fire Engines Battle Flames

Firefighters arrived with three fire engines and a height vehicle. Wearing breathing apparatus, they fought back the flames engulfing the property’s roof and a nearby shed. Using high-pressure hose reel jets, crews managed to bring the blaze under control.

Volunteer Team Supports Residents

The KFRS Volunteer Response Team also provided vital support to the residents affected by the fire. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the dramatic incident.

Cause Unknown as Investigation Looms

The origin of the fire remains a mystery. Authorities have launched a full investigation to uncover what sparked the devastating blaze. Emergency services wrapped up their work and left the scene by 7:51pm.
