Woman in Her 70s Stabbed to Death in West London Home

Police raced to St Luke’s Road, W11, at around 2.10pm on Saturday, 14 August after reports of a disturbance. Emergency crews, including London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance, arrived to find a woman in her 70s with stab wounds inside a property.

Despite paramedics’ best efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene just before 3pm. Her next of kin have been informed.

Man in 20s Arrested on Suspicion of Murder

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He was taken to hospital for treatment of a minor injury.

No other injuries have been reported. The area remains a sealed crime scene as detectives investigate.

Officers are continuing enquiries into the brutal stabbing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD3950/14Aug.
