Person Seriously Injured in Folkestone Industrial Estate Incident
A person has been airlifted to a London hospital after a serious incident on a Folkestone industrial estate on Saturday morning.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Paramedics, rapid response officers, and specialist HART teams from the South East Coast Ambulance Service were scrambled from Kent, Sussex, and Surrey. The KSS air ambulance also rushed to the scene on Archers Road.
The road was closed to allow the helicopter to land and flying doctors to stabilise the victim.
Critical Injuries and Hospital Transfer
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Highfield industrial estate in Folkestone. After treatment, the injured individual was stabilised and airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London with serious injuries.
Kent Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for statements regarding the incident.
