Woman in Critical Condition After Serious E-Scooter Crash in Tunbridge Wells

Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty collision involving an electric scooter left a woman fighting for her life.

The terrifying incident unfolded at 7:44pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Emergency crews rushed to Eastlands Road, near the junction with Waterdown Road in Tunbridge Wells, where a woman in her 40s had fallen hard from her e-scooter.

She suffered a severe head injury and was rushed by paramedics to a London hospital. She remains in a critical condition.

Police Launch Investigation, Call for Witnesses

Kent Police are treating the crash seriously and want to hear from anyone who saw the woman on her e-scooter before the fall.

“We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw the woman riding her e-scooter before the incident or may have captured footage on dashcams or CCTV,” said a police spokesperson.
