Illegal Cannabis Empire Busted Across Kent and London

Back in 2021, gang members Ylber Perhati (39) from Rainham, East London, Drilon Dishi (37), David Toal (50) from Hertfordshire, and Brooklyn Selita (19) from Harrow were jailed for a combined 37 years after a police investigation into large-scale cannabis supply.

Assets Frozen and Future Profits Blocked

Financial investigators used the Proceeds of Crime Act to seize cash and assets. Two other suspects, Fation Perhati (29) and Hekuran Perhati (34), were ordered to pay back smaller sums but remain under surveillance for any hidden assets.

All six criminals face deadlines to cough up their ill-gotten gains or face extra jail time.

Detective Inspector David Godfrey said: “This successful application under the Proceeds of Crime Act means that this gang will be unable to profit from their ill-gotten gains.”

“The money had been gained from an illegal industry that has a detrimental impact on the communities we serve. This case should act as a warning to all those aiming to benefit financially from criminal activities that you will be caught and any money gained unlawfully will be taken from you.”

The recovered cash will be shared among operational agencies, including Kent Police, through the Asset Recovery Incentivisation Scheme (ARIS).
