PCSO Julia James Murder: Police Urge Public for Help a Week On
Detectives are still hunting for leads in the shocking murder of PCSO Julia James, found dead near Akholt Wood, Snowdown, just before 4pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021. The 53-year-old was discovered in the Aylesham Road area after suffering fatal head injuries while walking her dog.
Road Checks and Public Appeals Ramp Up

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, backed by the National Crime Agency, are delving into every possible motive and suspect. Specialists are using advanced forensic search techniques to crack the case.
