Two Men Left Fighting for Their Lives After Brutal Southend Attack
Police are hunting for answers after a savage assault in Southend last night left two men in life-threatening condition.
Violent Scene Near Odeon Cinema
Officers rushed to London Road at around 11:30pm following reports of an attack. Passersby flagged down police near the Odeon Cinema, where they found one man badly injured.
The search continued nearby, and a second seriously hurt man was discovered close to College Way.
Three Arrested Over Attack and Other Charges
- A 28-year-old man was arrested for assault causing grievous bodily harm and drug possession.
- A 24-year-old woman faces charges including possession of a knife, firearms offences, and assault causing actual and grievous bodily harm.
- A 22-year-old man was held on suspicion of criminal damage, intent to steal drugs, robbery, and grievous bodily harm.
All three remain in custody for questioning as police continue their investigation.
Public Warned to Avoid Crime Scenes
Police have cordoned off both London Road and College Way, urging the public to stay clear of these areas while the inquiry is ongoing.
