Man Arrested After Late-Night Stabbing in Bexhill
A serious stabbing rocked Bexhill late on Friday, February 24. The attack happened on London Road at around 11:50 pm, leaving the victim rushed to hospital with stab wounds.
Suspect Nabbed After Intense Police Investigation
Connor Hyland-Whiting, 24, from West View, Hastings, was arrested on March 3 following a thorough police probe. He faces charges of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon linked to the stabbing.
Multiple Charges Stack Up for Hastings Man
But that’s not all. Hyland-Whiting is also charged with:
- Attempted wounding with intent
- Possession of offensive weapons and knife blades in public
- Affray
- Assault causing actual bodily harm
These relate to three separate incidents, painting a worrying picture.
Police Urge Public To Help End Knife Crime
Hyland-Whiting remains in custody ahead of a March 6 court appearance at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
