Police bail Third Woman following Double Stabbing in Portsmouth

Detectives investigating the assault of two men who were found in Somers Road with stab wounds on Friday, March 3, have bailed the third woman arrested. A 35-year-old woman of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender – indictable offence (except murder) and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug. She has been bailed until April 28. Previously a 35-year-old woman from Portsmouth and a 26-year-old woman from Southsea were both arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender – indictable offence (except murder) and section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and were bailed until April 26. A 50-year-old man received life-threatening injuries and a 31-year-old man sustained serious injuries. We are still trying to trace two men were seen running away from Somers Road, around the time of the assault. They were both described as mixed race / black, in their 20s and wearing tracksuits. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting.
