Cyclist Charged After Brutal Pensioner Attack in Gosport
Police have charged a 28-year-old man following a vicious assault on a pensioner in Gosport last Sunday.
Pensioner Pushed to Ground in Shocking Attack
The 69-year-old victim was shoved to the floor during the incident on the one-way system of Bury Road at around 5:50pm on September 25. He sustained a serious head injury and remains in hospital receiving treatment at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.
Attacker Held on Grievous Bodily Harm Charges
Duncan Snellgrove, 28, from Howe Road, has been charged with grievous bodily harm. He is currently remanded in custody.
Next Court Date Set
Snellgrove is scheduled to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 28.
