Man Charged Over Shocking Sexual Assault in Southampton Park
Swift Police Action After Horror Attack
Police have charged a man following a sexual assault in Southampton’s Hoglands Park. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, 11 March, when a 19-year-old woman was targeted at around 1.30am.
Suspect Named and Held
Arifullah Khan, 23, from Lumpy Lane, Southampton, has been formally charged with sexual assault. He was arrested swiftly and has now been remanded in custody.
Court Appearance Today
Khan is due to appear in court later today, 17 March, as the investigation continues.
