Police Hunt Witnesses as Nightclub Area Locked Down
Detective Superintendent Hayley Williams of Nottinghamshire Police said:
“This was a very serious assault that left two young men in hospital. We are working hard to understand what happened before, during and after the incident and urge any witnesses to come forward.”
Officers are asking taxi and bus drivers to check if any passengers had visible injuries or bloodstains. They also want anyone who has noticed unexplained wounds on friends or family to get in touch.
Several police cordons remain in place across Nottingham city centre, causing disruption to local businesses. However, detectives say the measures are vital to gather all available evidence from the early hours attack.
