Leicester Man Dies After Brutal City Centre Assault
Police have identified the victim of a savage attack in Leicester’s city centre. Darren Bradley, 53, died from a serious head injury after being assaulted on High Street in the early hours of Friday, August 19.

Darren was rushed to hospital but tragically passed away the following day. A post-mortem confirmed his death was caused by the head injury sustained during the assault.
“Darren was a loving husband, son, father, stepfather, and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed,” his family said. “We would appreciate privacy at this time.”
Investigation Ongoing, Suspect on Bail
Police continue to probe the circumstances around the attack. A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on bail.
