Enfield Murder Shocker: Teen’s Body Found in Loft

Detectives have confirmed the identity of a man whose body was discovered at a house in Enfield. Officers were called to a property in Hartmoor Mews at around 2pm on Monday, 27 August, following a tip-off.

Body of 18-Year-Old Found Hidden in Loft

Inside the loft of the home, officers found the body of 18-year-old Abdi Ali, from Ostell Crescent, Enfield. His family have been informed of the tragic news.

Brutal Cause of Death Revealed

A post-mortem carried out on Friday, 31 August, at Haringey Mortuary found Abdi died from blunt force trauma to the head and stab wounds to the chest.

Two Charged Over Gruesome Murder

A 36-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been charged with Abdi’s murder. They also face charges of perverting the course of justice and preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body.

Both appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 30 August, and were remanded in custody pending further hearings.

Abdi Missing Since December 2017

Abdi was first reported missing on 31 December 2017 after last being seen by family at home on 11 December 2017 following a family wedding. Local police launched an investigation into his disappearance at the time.
