Body found during missing baby investigation
Tragedy struck today as officers announced they had found a body during searches for a missing baby. The remains were uncovered in woodland close to where Constance Marten and Mark Gordon were arrested earlier this week in Brighton.
Extended detainment granted
Authorities secured a 36-hour extension order at Brighton Magistrates Court, keeping Marten and Gordon in custody as the probe intensifies.
Massive search effort deployed
Detective Superintendent Basford revealed the search covered a vast 90 square miles. Helicopters, drones, and sniffer dogs were all deployed in the relentless hunt for answers.
