Knife Attack Shakes Brighton’s New Road
Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was stabbed in broad daylight on New Road, Brighton, on December 22.
Victim Hospitalised with Serious Hand Injury
The attack happened around 12:30pm when officers rushed to reports of a man being slashed with a knife. The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered a severe hand injury and needed emergency hospital treatment.
Suspect Arrested and Bailed
A 44-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Officers believe many witnesses have yet to come forward. They are urging anyone who saw the attack to get in touch immediately.
