BBC Unveils Star-Studded RHS Chelsea Flower Show TV Line-Up

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is back on your screens in a big way this year! Starting Sunday evening at 6pm, BBC One launches with a one-hour special hosted by Sophie Raworth and Joe Swift. They’ll give viewers an exclusive first look at the stunning gardens and headline exhibits set to wow the crowds.

From Monday 23rd, the action kicks off with two programmes capturing the excitement of opening day. Nicki Chapman and Angellica Bell present the daytime series at 3.45pm, packed with celebrity guests, live demos, and eye-catching features. Later at 8pm, Monty Don and Joe Swift take over BBC Two for expert garden and floral exhibit reviews, plus an interactive ‘Ask Monty and Joe’ segment where viewers can get their gardening questions answered.

The show boasts a star-studded presenter line-up including Carol Klein, Rachel de Thame, Arit Anderson, Adam Frost, Mark Lane, Toby Buckland, James Wong, Nick Bailey, and Frances Tophill. Adding more sparkle are Mary Berry, JJ Chalmers, and Chris Bavin, who will share their passion for all things Chelsea.

Expert Tips and Show Highlights

Carol Klein offers top dos and don’ts for combining colour in your garden, while Mark Lane reveals how to craft stylish borders to suit any taste. The beloved Chelsea Clinic returns, where experts solve viewers’ gardening dilemmas live.

Multi award-winning designer Adam Frost will appear every night, breaking down designer planting secrets so viewers can bring a touch of Chelsea magic to their own gardens.

People’s Choice and Exciting Extras

On Wednesday at 7pm, Sophie Raworth and Joe Swift return to launch the BBC RHS People’s Choice Award, showcasing 13 large show gardens vying for public votes. The winner will be unveiled on Friday at 7.30pm.
