Pupils in Panic as Man with Lookalike Gun Sparks School Lockdown
Chaos hit Eskdale Academy Monday morning when a man carrying what appeared to be an air rifle was spotted nearby just as students arrived at 8.55am. The sighting sparked an immediate lockdown, throwing the school into turmoil.

Without hesitation, the headteacher ordered all pupils inside and sealed every entrance. Staff acted swiftly to keep children safe while police rushed to the scene to tackle the threat.
Man nabbed over Fake Firearm and Class A Drugs
Cleveland Police arrested a 30-year-old suspect on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence. He’s also been charged with possession of a Class A drug. The man remains in custody as officers continue their inquiries.
