Seventh Arrest Made in Yateley Attempted Murder Probe
Police have made a seventh arrest in connection with an attempted murder in Yateley. The drama unfolded on Tuesday, 16 March, when officers were called just after 3.30pm following reports of shots fired at a black Mercedes on Reading Road near Darby Green Road.
Gunshots Rock Yateley Streets Twice
Just ten minutes later, around 3.40pm, another gunshot was heard near Croft Lane, spreading panic across the quiet town. The investigation has since gathered pace.
Suspects Held and Released
- On 6 June, a 20-year-old Yateley man was arrested over conspiracy to murder but has since been released under investigation.
- A 23-year-old Yateley man and a 17-year-old boy from Crowthorne were arrested for attempted murder and bailed.
- A 19-year-old woman from Aldershot and a 17-year-old from Yateley were held for assisting an offender, now released under investigation.
Two Charged, Court Date Set
Macari Fullard, 21, from Ash Vale, now faces attempted murder charges. He is due in Winchester Crown Court on 14 April.
Johnny Stevens, 19, from Yateley, has been charged with attempted murder and firearm possession.
