Doncaster Man Jailed for Over a Decade in Child Sex Abuse Case
Ryan Madine, 24, from Doncaster, has been handed an 11-and-a-half-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a child and trading explicit material with another convicted paedophile.
Horrific Crimes Recorded and Shared
Madine subjected his young victim to multiple sexual assaults, which he recorded before sending the disturbing footage to James Mitchell, 31, of Retford, Nottinghamshire. Mitchell, also a convicted child sex offender, encouraged Madine’s vile actions and exchanged child abuse images with him.
18-Month Investigation Uncovers Shocking Evidence
The charges stemmed from a painstaking 18-month probe analysing data found on one of Madine’s digital devices. Initially denying any sexual interest in children, Madine later pleaded guilty to a string of offences including:
- Assaulting a child under 13 by penetration
- Sexually assaulting a child
- Voyeurism
- Sexual communication with a child
- Making and distributing indecent photographs of a child
Both Paedophiles Sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court
At Sheffield Crown Court, Madine and Mitchell were each sentenced to 11-and-a-half years in jail. Both men face lifelong registration on the Sex Offenders’ Register and have been issued restraining orders to protect the public.
Justice has been served, but the scars on the victims will last a lifetime.
