Shoreham Air Show Tragedy: Pilot Faces Manslaughter Charges

Andrew Hill, the pilot behind the deadly Hawker Hunter jet crash at the 2015 Shoreham Air Show, is set to face criminal charges. The devastating crash claimed 11 lives, and now Hill, 53, from Standon, Hertfordshire, will be charged with manslaughter by gross negligence over the horror.

Serious Charges Laid

The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised charges not only for manslaughter but also for endangering an aircraft, violating Article 137 of the Air Navigation Order 2009. Hill is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 19 April to face the charges.
