Drug Dealer Busted in High Wycombe Crack and Heroin Sting
A man has pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs — crack cocaine and heroin — plus possession of criminal property. The arrest followed a sharp police operation in High Wycombe town centre.
Caught in the Act
On the morning of 22 January, an officer spotted two known drug users in an alley linking Castle Street and Priory Avenue. Moments later, Obasi appeared from Priory Road, entered the alley, then re-emerged with the users. One thanked him, raising the officer’s suspicions.
The officer called for support, and when Obasi noticed the marked police vehicle, he took off running downhill along Priory Road. Officers chased him down and finally detained him inside a nearby business premises.
Drugs and Cash Found Along Escape Route
- Police found a stash of crack cocaine and heroin along Obasi’s escape path.
- A significant amount of cash was discovered on him.
- At a hotel where Obasi had been staying, officers uncovered more class A drugs, drug prepping equipment, cling-film wraps, scales with residue, and bundles of cash.
- Also seized was a white iPhone and prescription medication bearing Obasi’s name.
Obasi was officially charged the following day, 23 January, for drug supply offences.
