A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a stabbing at The Level, Brighton, yesterday afternoon.

Police confirmed a male victim suffered “serious injuries” following an alleged knife attack around 4.15pm. Forensics teams swarmed the area, sealing off the scene to gather crucial evidence.
No Wider Threat, Police Assure
Officers have stressed there is “no danger to the wider community” amid the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to help crack the case.
“Anyone with information which could help officers with their enquiries is asked to report it to police online or call 101 quoting Operation Danegate,” said police. “Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
Suspect Bailed, Case Ongoing
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has now been bailed until November 18 as investigations continue.
