Stalker Follows Women Home and Camps Outside Flat for 12 Hours
A creepy stalker who followed two women home from a nightclub and spent 12 hours lurking outside their flat has finally been caught and punished.
Night Out Turns Into Harrowing Ordeal
On April 20, 26-year-old Abdullah Abdullah targeted two friends at Infernos nightclub in Clapham. After they rejected his unwanted advances, he didn’t take no for an answer. Instead, he tailed them around the area before stalking them all the way back to their home.
Once outside their flat, Abdullah shouted at the women before they rushed inside. But he refused to leave, hanging around for a full 12 hours, insisting he liked them, according to court papers.
Justice Served: Guilty Plea and Tough Sentence
Abdullah, from Streatham Road in Mitcham, faced two counts of stalking without causing fear, alarm, or distress. He pleaded guilty at 1 Magistrates’ Court on July 25.
On October 3, he was handed an 18-month community order. His punishment includes 100 hours of unpaid work and up to 32 days of rehabilitation activities.
He must also pay £100 compensation to each of his victims.
This case sends a strong warning: stalking won’t be tolerated in UK streets.
