A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a brutal knife attack in Gillingham.
Knife Assault Rocks Quiet Gillingham Street
Kent Police rushed to a home in Gillingham around 2:25pm on Saturday, 25 January 2025, following reports of a stabbing. Emergency crews, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, found a teenage victim suffering serious stab wounds.
Victim Stable After Swift Hospital Transfer
The injured man, in his late teens, was quickly taken to a London hospital. Police confirmed he is now in a stable condition.
Suspect in Custody
Jamie Goodege, 21, from Fourth Avenue, Gillingham, who knew the victim, was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody. He is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 January 2025.
