15-year-old charged with murder after schoolboy Shayne Hambakachere dies in Chippenham
Tragedy Strikes Chippenham
Shayne Hambakachere, 16, a pupil at Hardenhuish School, was found critically injured on London Road just before 4pm on Saturday, 31 January. Despite desperate attempts to save him, Shayne died at the scene.
Police swiftly arrested a 15-year-old boy from the area on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The teenager was later re-arrested and charged with murder. He remains in custody and is due in Swindon Magistrates Court on 4 February.
