Police Hunt 10 Suspects in West End Drug Crackdown
Detectives probing drug-dealing in Soho have released images of ten people they urgently want to question. This move is part of Operation Dissemble, a crackdown targeting the drug supply network tearing through London’s West End.
43 Raids, 41 Arrests So Far
Over three days in December and January, officers raided 43 addresses linked to the drug trade. The result? A massive haul of 41 arrests on drug-related charges. Nineteen suspects have already pleaded guilty.
“The link between drugs and violence on London’s streets is clear,” said Detective Constable Kathryn Waite from the Met’s Central West Basic Command Unit. “The long-term damage drug crime does to our communities cannot be overstated.”
DC Waite added: “We launched this operation after listening to residents and businesses who are fed up with drug crime. Many of the suspects we’ve identified are now off the streets, behind bars awaiting trial or sentencing.”
Public Plea: Help Police Nab 10 More Suspects
Police want your help to track down the remaining ten suspects featured in their released images. If you recognise anyone or know their whereabouts, call 101 or 07435 641126 quoting “Op Dissemble”.
“The public plays a crucial role in stopping crime,” DC Waite stressed. “By giving us information, communities can make a real difference in keeping central London safe.”
