Man Dies After Night of Violence in Chadwell Heath
A murder probe is underway after a man died following a violent fight in Chadwell Heath. Police were called to a residential property on Cross Road at around 10.20pm on Wednesday, 27 May, after reports of a fight.
35-Year-Old Melvin Trotman Dies in Hospital
Officers and paramedics found Melvin Trotman, 35, unconscious at the scene. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition but sadly died two days later on Friday, 29 May. His family has been informed.
Arrest Made, But Details Remain Unclear
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He has since been released on bail while inquiries continue. It’s believed the victim and the suspect knew each other.
Metropolitan Police Hunt for Witnesses
