More than a dozen men have been arrested over shocking child sex crimes in Bolton, police reveal.
Operation Pavarotti Uncovers Grim Crimes
The accused are alleged to have carried out vile offences between 2016 and 2018, mostly in Blackrod and Adlington, Greater Manchester. Greater Manchester Police swooped after launching Operation Pavarotti to tackle child sexual exploitation in the area.
Accused Men Appear in Court
The men faced brief hearings at Bolton Magistrates’ Court in groups of three or four. None entered pleas. All have been bailed until May 10 with strict conditions. They must not contact anyone under 16, any complainants, co-accused, or visit a specified local address. They must also stay registered at their home addresses.

The 13 men named are Ashley Darbyshire, Harvie Aspden, Cory Barrett, Daniel Flatters, Jack Poulson, Jamie Fitzgerald, Elliott Turner, Ross Corley, 1 Harwood, Richard Haslam, Michael Linfoot, Thomas Rae, and Callum Hesketh.
