Three Arrested Over Dalston Drive-By That Left 9-Year-Old Girl Seriously Injured
Suspects Nabbed Nearly a Year On
In the early hours of Tuesday, February 25, cops swooped on three men aged 36, 35, and 28. They were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder over the brutal drive-by shooting in Dalston, East London. The suspects were soon released on bail as the investigation barrels on.
Harrowing Shooting Near Kingsland High Street
The terrifying attack unfolded at 9:20pm on May 29, 2024, outside Evin Turkish restaurant on Kingsland High Street. A gunman on a Ducati Monster motorcycle unleashed gunfire on the busy street. The shooting left a nine-year-old girl seriously wounded. Three other men were also hurt in the chaos.
Young Girl Faces Devastating Future
The Metropolitan Police have warned the little girl “may never be able to speak or move again” due to the catastrophic injuries she suffered.
Police Plead for Public Help
Detective Chief Inspector Ben Dalloway, leading the probe, said: “A little girl’s life was traumatically changed on the evening of Wednesday, 29 May. The dangerous individual responsible for those life-changing injuries remains on our streets, and people out there know who pulled the trigger.”
Officers want to hear from anyone who:
- Can identify the shooter seen riding the Ducati Monster.
- Spotted the Ducati Monster motorcycle around the area on that night.
