Knife Scare on Kent High Street: Three Arrested

Kent Police rushed to the High Street just before 9.30pm on Sunday, 17 December 2023, after reports of a bust-up involving a knife were made.

Van Stop Leads to Multiple Arrests

Officers quickly stopped a nearby van and arrested two men at the scene. A third suspect was tracked down and arrested the next day in Margate.

Three Charged in Violent Disorder Investigation

  • Jamie Tusting, 32, from High Level Drive, Sydenham, south London, faces charges of violent disorder and possession of a bladed article.
  • Jason Tusting, 36, of Roman Road, Ramsgate, is also charged with violent disorder and possession of a bladed article.
  • Jack Tusting, 27, also from Sydenham, has been charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon – a crowbar.

All three men are due in Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 19 December.
