Tragedy struck Nottingham city centre early on Friday as 22-year-old Davices Anderson died following a violent incident.

Man Dies After Early Morning Attack in Nottingham

Police rushed to High Cross Leys, near the junction of Huntingdon Street and Woodborough Road, at around 7.50am on 28 April. Paramedics treated Davices at the scene before rushing him to hospital, but he tragically passed away at 9.36am despite medical efforts.

Three Charged With Murder

Three suspects have been charged with murder and appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on 5 June:

  • Courtney McCleary, 53, of High Cross Leys
  • David St Anthony Francis, 60, of Swale Grove, Bingham
  • Lisa Barlow, 44, of High Cross Leys

Further Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

A 40-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder on 1 May, along with three others arrested for assisting an offender—a 39-year-old man and two individuals aged 33 and 44—have all been released on conditional bail as police continue their inquiries.
