Teen and Man Arrested After Brutal Stabbing in Luton

A man was left fighting for his life after a savage stabbing in Luton on Sunday night, 3 March. Police have arrested two suspects connected to the attack on Sherwood Road.

Two Held Over Life-Threatening Stab Attack

A 16-year-old boy from Luton is in custody on suspicion of attempted murder. In addition, a 47-year-old local man faces charges of violent disorder over the same incident.

Emergency crews rushed the victim to hospital with multiple stab wounds and a serious head injury. Both suspects have since been released on bail, pending further inquiries, until 3 April.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Chief Inspector Jerry Waite said: “We are continuing with our enquiries and are appealing to anyone who was in the area or has footage on their mobile phones to come forward.”
