Police Chase Ends in Crash
A police pursuit tore through Dartford on Tuesday evening after officers spotted a suspicious vehicle in Darenth Wood Road at around 5.30pm on March 25.
The driver ignored police signals to stop, sparking a short chase that ended at Bedford Road when the car slammed into a police vehicle. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
Drugs, Cash and Weapons Seized
Swarming the scene, officers quickly arrested two men and found a stash of cannabis, cash, deal bags, mobile phones, and an arsenal of weapons including a hammer, chisel, and extendable baton inside the vehicle.
Charges Laid Against Two Suspects
- 30-year-old from Swanley: Arrested for assault, going equipped for theft, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, criminal damage, and multiple driving offences.
- 27-year-old from Dartford: Arrested for assault, possession of an offensive weapon, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, and going equipped for theft.
Both remain in police custody but have been bailed pending further investigations.

Kent Police confirmed inquiries are ongoing and urged anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
