Kent Cops Nab Two Dangerous Drivers in Crackdown
Kent’s Roads Policing Unit has arrested two motorists in a targeted blitz against the county’s most hazardous drivers. Using intelligence-led tactics, officers are zeroing in on those most likely to cause serious or fatal crashes.
Disqualified Driver Busted in Faversham
On Friday, 14 August, cops stopped a 41-year-old man driving a Range Rover on the A251 in Faversham at 2:20 pm. The driver, caught behind the wheel despite being disqualified, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving without insurance. His vehicle was seized. He has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
Young Offender Caught in Larkfield Court Warrant Sweep
A 20-year-old man was arrested on 18 August in Woodpecker Road, Larkfield, after failing to appear in court for multiple driving offences. Taron Greeves, from Nightingale Close, faced Medway Magistrates Court on 19 August charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence. His case has been adjourned until 1 September.
Chief Inspector Warns: No Tolerance for Dangerous Drivers
“We are committed to taking action against those who pose a danger on the road,” said Chief Inspector Rhiannan Pepper. “Driving without a licence or while disqualified puts innocent road users at risk. It’s not acceptable, and we won’t hesitate to act. We urge anyone with information about dangerous drivers to come forward.”
