Massive Drug Bust in Kent: 147 Cannabis Plants Seized
Kent Police swooped on a Sandilands home early Saturday morning after a tip-off about suspected criminal activity.
Three Rooms Turned into Cannabis Factory
Officers discovered 147 mature cannabis plants spread across three rooms, along with extensive growing gear. The raid also uncovered a bag of white powder believed to be cocaine.
Two Arrested, Bail Set Until December
A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman from Ashford were hauled in on suspicion of producing cannabis and possessing Class A drugs to supply. The man faces additional charges of stealing electricity to power the grow operation. Both were released on bail pending further investigation.
