Police chase drama unfolds in Belvedere as Ford Kuga driver sparks alert
Suspect’s Dodgy Driving Sparks Police Pursuit
At around 10pm on Monday 4 September 2023, a Ford Kuga caught the attention of a police patrol in Belvedere town centre. The vehicle’s suspicious driving prompted officers to follow it closely.
High-Speed Chase Ends on Station Road
The police tailed the car along the A2 towards London before ordering the driver to stop in Station Road, Belvedere. The tense standoff marked the end of the pursuit.
Two Men Charged and Remanded
Reis Bhandal from Shirley Close, Dartford, and Lewis Falegan of Ashburnham Road, Belvedere, were charged on 6 September. Both men were remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on 4 October. Read more here.
