Two Men Charged Over Fatal Stabbing in SE25

Tyreece Riggon, 20, of Armistice Gardens, SE25, and Julian Russell, 22, of Sanfield Road, CR7, were arrested on Thursday, 18 February. The following day, both were charged with the murder of Lavaun Witter, the wounding with intent of a 16-year-old boy, and possession of a bladed weapon.

Victim Died at Scene After Late Evening Attack

Police and paramedics were called to a home on Wisbeach Road, SE25, at around 8.10pm on Friday, 5 February. Officers found Lavaun suffering from a stab wound. Despite urgent medical attention, he was pronounced dead at 9.10pm.

The same attack left a 16-year-old male injured. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Investigation Continues As Police Hunt More Suspects

Riggon and Russell remain in custody and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 20 February. Detectives say more suspects may be on the loose and urge anyone with information to come forward.
