Brothers Jailed for Savage Racist Attack and High Street Brawl in Slough
Rohil Aslam, 32, and his brother Nabil Aslam, also 32, both from Court Farm Close, Slough, have copped prison sentences after a brutal hate-fueled assault and a violent fight.
Rohil Gets Four Years and Seven Months for Racist Attack
Rohil pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, and affray. He was locked up for four years and seven months at Reading Crown Court last Tuesday (21/3).
On 28 August 2022, Rohil and Nabil were harassing a woman on Ragstone Road when a man stepped in to help. Rohil launched a vicious racist assault, punching the man repeatedly and leaving him with serious injuries.
When a neighbour tried to assist, Rohil chased him home, banging on the door and threatening to kill him.
Nabil Slapped with Nine Months for Violence and Vandalism
Nabil admitted attempted actual bodily harm and criminal damage. During a fight outside The Briskhouse on Slough High Street, he punched a man filming the scuffle, knocking him down and landing more blows.
He smashed the victim’s phone on the ground, adding vandalism to his charges. Nabil got nine months behind bars.
Police Slam Hate Crime and Violent Behaviour
Detective Sergeant Thomas Harman said: “These brothers committed serious acts of violence against innocent members of the public. Rohil Aslam’s use of racist language, and the level of injury he caused, make his offences particularly shocking. The sentences reflect the severity of their crimes and demonstrate Thames Valley Police’s commitment to tackling hate crime and violent offenders.”
