Eastbourne Drug Line Boss Busted in Major Sting
Two men at the heart of a sprawling Eastbourne drug line have been sentenced after a massive police crackdown uncovered their criminal network stretching from North West London to Eastbourne.
London Mastermind and Eastbourne Dealer Caught
Sussex Police’s Project ADDER teamed up with the Met Police’s Operation Orochi to smash seven drug lines run by 30-year-old Ahmet Arslan from Clandon Gardens, London. Arslan was the kingpin, managing the entire operation—from directing couriers to handling drug profits.
Meanwhile, 42-year-old Radovan Vukmir of Seaside Road in Eastbourne played a key role in local drug distribution, working as Arslan’s right-hand man in the area.
Coordinated Raids Bring Justice
In July 2023, police launched coordinated raids in Eastbourne and London, arresting Arslan and Vukmir and seizing crucial evidence including mobile phones used to run the drug trade.
The pair faced justice at Lewes Crown Court, where they were sentenced for their crimes.
Sentences Delivered: Kingpin Behind Bars, Dealer Gets Suspended Sentence
- Arslan was sentenced to 173 weeks in prison, reflecting his dominant role in the drug network.
- Vukmir, considered less involved and unaware of the full scale, received a 101-week sentence suspended for 24 months.
This crackdown sends a clear message to drug traffickers operating across regions: police will hunt you down and bring you to justice.
