Police Storm Homes in Bromley and Ashford
Both men were arrested in October 2021 during raids in Bromley and Ashford. Clarke, 21, was caught climbing out of a window at a Bromley property where officers found £11,000 worth of coke, heroin, phones, sim cards, and scales. The next day, Mansary, 21, was nabbed in Ashford with drugs, cash, and a knife.
Jail Sentences Hit Hard
After admitting their crimes, the pair were sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on 8 April 2022. Mansary from Poplar was jailed for four years. Clarke, also 21, from Bromley, copped seven years, including time for similar offences in Winchester.
Kent Police Strike Back on County Lines
“Class A drugs of this kind ruin lives and fuel violence,” said PC Samantha Smith of Kent’s County Lines and Gangs Team. “We’ll keep hunting down those supplying drugs, arresting them, and making sure they face the courts.”
Investigations led officers to the Bromley property after tracking text messages offering heroin and cocaine to users in Ashford between July and September 2021. The crackdown sends a clear message: Kent won’t tolerate county lines dealers wrecking communities.
