High-Tech Sting on Pockeridge Road

Wiltshire Police pulled off a swift and smart drugs bust this week in Corsham. On October 21, officers from Corsham, Chippenham, and Calne joined forces with the high-flying Wiltshire Police Drone Unit and intelligence teams to swoop on a Pockeridge Road property. The target? Local drug dealing.

Massive Cannabis Haul and Arrests

  • Large stash of cannabis seized
  • Drug paraphernalia recovered
  • Two arrested: 57-year-old woman and 24-year-old man
  • Both held on suspicion of supplying class B drugs

The suspects were taken to Melksham custody then granted bail while investigations carry on.

Police Warn: Drug Dealers, Watch Out!

“This was a successful warrant with two people arrested and a large amount of cannabis seized,” said Corsham Neighbourhood Sgt Michael Tripp. “We understand worries from residents near suspected drug hotspots. We want to make it clear: we’re cracking down hard on drug crimes.”
